Every year, the international fashion community honors the best and brightest in American design at the CFDA Fashion Awards, and in 2023, Serena Williams was named the Fashion Icon Award winner. We wanted to make sure her entrance at the ceremony was as grand as her black sequin dress, so what better way to build excitement than creating a one-of-a-kind accessory to match – a custom-wrapped Navigator.

On Lincoln’s social channels, we teased BTS footage of the meticulous process that goes into a custom vehicle wrap, Serena getting ready, and shots of her arrival.

This grand entrance positioned the Navigator as a fashion icon itself, so much so that it was featured in popular publications like People, InStyle, and E! News, to name a few.
